Standard green curly kale.
The plants are tall, growing up to 2–3′, with excellent yield and good cold hardiness. The ruffled blue-green leaves have an attractive curl. Vigorous plants will continue growing to produce leaves for successive harvests as the lower leaves are harvested.
Beginning about 2 months after planting, harvest by clipping individual leaves. Kale is very hardy, and the eating quality will improve into the late fall with light frost.GROWN YEAR-ROUND IN THE TOWER GARDENSEED: Winterbor Kale Seed from Johnny’s Selected SeedsLATIN NAME: Brassica oleraceaDAYS TO MATURITY: 60 days
