We are excited to share that Tower Garden and our Tower Farm are featured on the show Homegrown on the Magnolia Network! We hope this will shine a light on the opportunity for anyone to grow nutritious and delicious food at home or on a farm for their community.

It all started last June (2023) when I received a support email with the subject “Hydroponic expert for Homegrown TV show”. Being a reasonable but sometimes skeptical person, my first thought was it’s spam and my second thought was I’m no expert! But I opened it. And it was legit. What?! I responded with all the passion I could muster that our mission was to grow food for our community and to help others do the same using aeroponic towers. The next day we had a Zoom call to show them around. In July the producers came from a site visit and in August they were filming. It was so fast and so fun and thankfully no time to panic (or lose 20 lbs, get braces, or a facelift…) The hardest part was keeping it a secret until the release IN APRIL. Lord, help but we did it (mostly).
August 8th I was on set for the first day of shooting with the homeowners, Lexi and Kwam. I met Jamila and helped set up the towers (being an expert and all). It was crazy cool. A HUGE shoutout to the production crew from Eclipse Creative (Instagram). Jamila, Jennifer, Jill, Anni, and all the film crew were exceptional and kind and curious and professional. I don’t know how they work with the Magnolia Network or choose people and projects but it was everything I could have hoped and imagined.
August 9th at 6 am the whole crew arrived at our greenhouses.
