Earlier this year Clint and I partnered with AboutFace-USA to open AboutFace Farm, an indoor aeroponic farm, in Cumming, Georgia. It is a very exciting time and we are grateful for this opportunity.
Located at 188 Tri-County Plaza just off Highway 400 at exit 14 (Hwy 20).
AboutFace-USA founded by Joe and Carol LaBranche is dedicated to empowering veterans and their families on their journey to recovery and resilience. Their vision is Project GROW which stands for “G”ardening, “R”creation, “O”utreach, and “W”ellness. Project GROW combines a community center for veteran resources, community gatherings, a future market, with an aeroponic farm.
AboutFace Farm provides:
- vocational farm training for veterans in transition,
- volunteer and community service opportunities,
- workshops to grow nutrient-dense food aeroponically,
- local produce and microgreens to our farm-to-table restaurants,
- living produce donated to local food banks,
- an online market to pick up onsite or delivered,
- a fun and healthy environment for community connections,
- and more!
AboutFace Farm is also a pickup location for seedlings! During checkout, check “Local Pickup” and then select “Cumming Location” from the dropdown list. I will contact you when your order is ready to pick up.
Our seedling greenhouses remain in Ball Ground for you to shop online and pick up OR come during open hours – Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 9a-12p – to shop for seedlings.
