Sadie’s Product Highlight: Big Blue Lariope

Hello everyone! I have a great product highlight for today – Big Blue Lariope. The Liriope ‘Big Blue’ is a great grass-like evergreen which is also known as lily turf or monkey grass. Great news, it’s tolerant of summer heat and humidity, lavender flowers in late summer and is great to edge a path or bed!

This is an evergreen and can withstand heavy foot traffic, extremely low maintenance and will enhance the beauty of your landscape. Product Highlight: Variegated Lily-turf, Liriope

Today’s product highlight is the Variegated Lily-turf, Liriope. This groundcover is a clump-forming perennial that has grass-like foliage. This groundcover is a great plant for bordering sidewalks and edging landscape beds. It will grow well around trees and shrubs. This Liriope prefers moist soils, but will do fine in a variety of conditions. Once planted, it tolerates full to partial sun (filtered light), high heat and dry conditions and is virtually maintenance-free.

Hey! Sadie here again! I’m excited to share another one of my favorite ground covers  – Lily Turf or Liriope “Big Blue”!

Ready to start getting your lawn prepped and ready for fall? Today I am sharing another of my favorite ground covers – Liriope ‘Big Blue’ or Lily Turf. This grass-like evergreen is a great way to edge a path or around a bed. It produces lilac flower spikes in the late summer and then black berry-like fruits that appear in the fall.
